Pleasantview, Dina Caliente, Part 3

Now we are back to Dina Caliente. It’s just her, as Nina has moved out with her FOUR children, so Dina has the house to herself (mostly). She’s learned to cook a bit since the last rotation.

And she’s been able to do a few upgrades around the house with her earnings.

She has to be more creative with her work hours, now. Nina’s departure left room for her daughters, Bijoux and Hildegard Caliente. Bijoux is Daniel Pleasant’s daughter, and Hildegard was from a random townie client in the old neighborhood.

Work has been very good lately. Dina is at her best entertaining.

But the week starts as a dud as not one

But two of her clients are unable to pay her full fee.

She’s just becoming too good at her job for the small town men.

Today was a bit of a loss, she will have to hope there are wealthier men who would like to spend time with her tomorrow.

Dina was up early the next morning. The toddlers needed their bottles and snuggles, and Dina had some letters she needed to mail (some clients are old fashioned, and Dina is ever the pleaser).

Then it was an early appointment at the hospital for some of her monthly checkups. In her business, it was important to stay healthy!

That little checkup turned into a very expensive visit. As it happens, Dina had contracted a disease called Burning Sim, which gives someone a chance of spontaneously combusting – not what one would want EVER. Treatment was 5k, which just about emptied Dina’s coffers. Looks like today is going to have to be a busy workday. Hopefully the clients actually pay.

But before she gets to work, she studies some cooking for a bit. She’s learned it’s important to keep her mind active and learn new things. Plus, she has some business related ambitions, and cooking well is part of it.

Just taking care of a few last minute chores before calling the babysitter and “clocking in”. Dina is still the sexy, flirtatious, woohoo loving woman from the last rotation, but she’s becoming a devoted mother at the same time, if you can believe there is such a thing.

Her first client is Don, a reliable favorite, and he always pays appropriately.

Her next is George Fancy, a man who suddenly found himself a family man and had to quickly marry his now heavily pregnant sweetheart, Monica. Dina saw this as doing a good deed for a guy in a tough situation. Even more important, he also paid.

All in all, it was a much more successful day that the one previously. Still, just one or two mishaps and things could fall apart. Dina wanted a little more stability in her career.

A rooftop bar is such a good idea for any season of the year except THIS ONE.

The next day was cold and snowy, so Dina decided to limit her work to the computer. It didn’t bring in the kind of money seeing clients in person did, but it was a lot less… squelchy.

(I just love sleeping toddler shots)

That evening, Dina decided she needed to drum up some business and find new clients. A great place was the local dance club.

A new sim in the neighborhood caught her eye. Hello, handsome!

She and Hassan hit it off very well.

The two danced for hours. It probably wasn’t the best use of her time – she should have mingled more, but Hassan was electric and she didn’t want to step away.

It was well after three before she crawled into bed. It was guaranteed to be a rough morning: Toddlers do not care how much sleep you didn’t get.

The next morning was indeed awful. Dina was somehow still both hungover AND drunk, and neither a shower nor a cigarette eased the pounding in her head.

Bills don’t care how hungover you are, though.

This is a hard lifestyle, and things don’t always happen smoothly, but it enables Dina to live the kind of life she wants (usually). And motherhood as been more fulfilling than she imagined it would when she first fell pregnant.

A surprise phone call interrupts her momentary reverie. It’s Hassan, and he’d like to take Dina out!
